When it rains, it pours... but God is good.
Lately, everything's been crazy in the Fox residence. The day those massive storms and tornadoes were flying through, we peeked out our windows and the wind and rain were so intense, we genuinely couldn't see our front porch. Never heard the giant CRASH out back either. I causally walked through our house, assessing the storm through various windows, and when I looked out at the backyard, lo and behold, our shed had oragamied itself around a tree, right outside our house.
I took this photo after the storms settled. Crazy to think about, even after the storms have settled and the crisis is over, the damage is still done. It takes time and effort to pick up the pieces after a storm, such as unwrapping a shed from around a tree. Granted, my husband got to work pretty quickly on that, to at least stop the shed from being a tree-hugger.
While this is the craziest thing I've seen in the past couple weeks, it's not the only chaos that has struck. Our heat was out for 2 days, found out my husband needs glasses, and our taxes got screwed up so we owe more to the IRS than we have in savings. Like I said, when it rains, it pours. Yet, through it all, God is still good! He protected our house from the storm, He's providing everything we need to get through this mess, and He helped my husband fix our heat for free. He is amazing! No matter what comes our way, no matter how the shed may wrap itself around a tree, He is still watching over us through it all. Nothing says, "I love you" like keeping someone safe in a way they never could themselves.
